ABOUT THE AUTHOR

I worked there for 23 years and I enjoyed everyday with the children. My name is Helen Cook who wrote the book Harley the Brown Bear. My childhood was good and I came from a middle class family. I had good parents. We did not have much money, but we were always clothed and fed. I had a good education and I liked going to school every day. Also, I am a great animal lover. My favourite animals are big cats, dogs, and bears. I also collect teddy bears.
